This anime is win so far. I still cannot see how the main guy is a high school student, insanely strong, has to go to school, but can protect the girl part of the time.

When he was a kid he was kidnapped along with a few other kids and just when he was about to be killed, Benika(the mediator lady) showed up and kicked all of the bad guys` asses, so he decided that he wanted to come with her and become a mediator too. She introduced him to that dojo and because of the ma training regimen there he became a monster compared to other people(normal people).

I'm enjoying it. It's a nice change from the usual highschool drama / comedy series. Anyone know the air date for this (like, which day of the week?).

This anime is amusing. I just love the comedy. Especially the triple quarrel in episode 3. I'm just amazed by how this anime is going.
yea man... the quarrel part was good..
the part where murasaki was in the lab talking to shinkurou was also good..xD

So far I really like this anime, I would even think its better than Nabari and Kyouran (my other 2 favorites among the 6 current season animes i've watched)  the development is good and the way the characters interact is very interesting, not to mention their complicated backgrounds.

Personally I dont find Muraski to be stuck up at all. She is merely what we would call, "A frog in a well" and she just got out of it. The refined way she speaks is really cute lol

The anime shows how she is dealing with the "new" world she is in but for a kid she seems surprisingly mature and energetic despite her rather dark past. Although it looks like its based on a manga again, lol but still its well done thus far

best thing of spring 2008. think this is the only anime so far where there is running dialogue with more than 1 character talking/arguing at the same time. makes it more realistic and enjoyable, i think.

actually, i think they did try this with Red Garden before. well, seems to be the same group doing the illustration. wish it was longer than the reported 13 episodes though

as the series reaches its end, inevitably comes our conflict situation.. kurenai makes a decision which leads to mursaki's capture.. so from the preview i'm guessing next ep will be him being in denial or giving up and the next few.. eventually getting over it and raiding the kuohoins!! lol, that would be pretty typical, thus far the anime is done very well so if it does follow such 'predictable' plots at least it'll still be a good watch

well i certainly hope that the ending wouldnt be as simple as that..
and yea.. from the preview he looks as if he's trying console himself
what im predicting is murasaki's father is gonna play a major role in the last ep..

a little girl being protected by a young lad is a unique story for a comedy series, with perfect storyline and pace of developing those characters..perfect, yet simple enough not to bored anime viewers..^_^

heh, i hardly find it a comedy series, only times i laugh is when what is present is so truly correct that its funny. but comedy certainly isnt the main thing here..

ep10 wasnt disappointing at all! although overally it moved as anyone could predict but how he got there was perhaps slightly different. I felt it was still pretty well done, truly hope for a happy ending, I'd be so crushed if this is another sad ending anime =(

It looks like Murasaki-chan's brother is a pedo, xD, It may be brotherly love toward her, but he just creeps me out. The preview for episode 11 makes me wonder how strong he Shinkurou is going to become.
