Tekken is still a popular game in my country.. the machines are always full, at any time of the day.. (I think so, cuz I go to the arcades at the afternoons & at night sometimes.) I would love to try one myself....

The thing is that sometimes people took the matches too seriously and...

^yea even tho i love tekken
we can get a little to serious....=p that it will make new comers feel unwelcomed...

when i was a new commer in the tekken scene down here I would always feel unwelcomed like they were all pissed at me playing...

but yea if you wanna play just go on and play you will feel unwelcomed but that feeling will go away and they may accept you xD...

but tekken is that bad compared to the 2d fighter crowed -.- man alot of them are just very mean...

Ha you all *who are newbies in this game* should wait this game to be out on PS3/XBOX360 platform and goes training to avoid being raped at arcades.

Anyhow to play in Canada's arcades are a bit expensive than in Singapore, around 5 bucks in Canada compared to only 50 cents in Singapore. Dont know if this new year, the price for a token is increased at those place, i was assuming based on the last time i visited those places.

Oh yea check this out! an annual fighting games tournament held in Japan and of course Tekken 6 is one of those games that will have hosted in 2008.

http://www.tougeki.com/

We can see the insane combos will be performed in the competition with the real hand, no assist with hacking tool!

I'm interested to see the Melty Blood & Tekken ones.  grin But why they don't wanna take the new KoF instead of the old one? The question is.. how everyone practice all those crazy moves and remember them? Sometimes after I made the super combo move then I would usually forgot about it.  huh

@VioletHeart
Hope someone posted the battle on Youtube so I can watch in my free time.

nice list i saw all of them already tho and i got some friends who are into the whole 2d fighter scene altho im not much of a 2d guy i play GG and Capvs SNK but thats about it

oh and i bought SBO DVD Vol. 5 - T5DR great tourny =)

"Ha you all *who are newbies in this game* should wait this game to be out on PS3/XBOX360 platform and goes training to avoid being raped at arcades."

T6 is a sony exclusive other than arcades...and the arcade version runs off a modded Ps3 basicly...

umm well... im not into the 2d scene as i said b4 but i asume the older versions of KoF are just better...

and as for remembering combos.... well its all about your passion to the game...
if your really into the game you will just remember...

you cant really train someone to have passion for somthing...

oh and heres a good tekken match

So what you're saying that they are mostly "self taught"? But I wonder how do remember combos? I mean, it's like with a split second you have to execute fast.. Passion is one thing, but doing it again & again can be quite hard. Sometimes you mis-press then the combo is canceled or something..

^ But normally I would play in my school tourney first, then go for a bigger one instead.  You using a joystick in PS2 to practice for Melty Blood?
