« on: December 24, 2014, 07:24:26 AM »

Next year I'll be moving to Malaysia.
Wanted to ask if anyone knows good places to stay around cheras?
And a good sim card with great rates to call back to Jakarta!?

A sim card with great rates to call is usually hard to find.
You tend to get what you paid for. Honestly speaking.
If you want great rates and good connection you have to pay for more usually...

Try do research before deciding for sim that suits you.
I travelling there too for business and when I want to call back home i using celcom's pulsajutawan package. It's good because it gives me free 1 mins of call time when I talk for 1 minute and some free sms also. Its connection also very good.

Halo.
Thanks for this tip!
I googled pulsajutawan and well im worried that 10 ringgit top up may not be enough if I have heavy usage? What if I need to top up more? Also whats the procedure like in malaysia to get a sim card? here in indonesia you register and you can use it. is it the same there? :/

I totally agree that a local number is important when you're in a different country.
But why not try all your options when you are there? I mean see which prepaid card is the best option for you.

all you need to do is just go to the registration booth of celcom at the airport or at a place where they sell sim cards. Just be sure to take your passports and stuff when you're done. If you continuously reload for 6 months you get different freebies! I got the 2GB internet which was amazing and really fast cz celcom's connection is always good.
On the 28th they'll be having a concert in KL. with indo artists like slank and trio macan and other bands! So if you're interested then you should come by for it. And you can even get free tickets at the entrance when you reload at the entrance. That's if you're already going to be in KL by then. hehe. Or again just have a look at their site jutawanpulsa.com

usually sim cards are expensive when you want a lot of benefits.
or the sim card is cheap but their after sales stuff becomes expensive.
feels like its just a ginmmic or something.

I dont think for this prepaid you have to worry about hidden charges!
I mean it seems pretty good I'd probably go for this once my postpaid contract is over.

Hey this is a pretty good offer for the indo market, i didnt even know about this.
I'd totally go for this because of the benefits they're giving like the free call backs to indo and being able to watch the indonesian films for free, that'd be even more awesome if they had manga for free
The 36,000 thousand rupiah seems affordable too!

This is actually pretty amazing!
I can't believe that they're offering so much!
And honestly the 2GB internet is more than enough for whatsapp and fb and ig and all, but I could probably surf youtube too.
I think i would definitely pay a visit here. So thanks for the help actually.
