So voting is now officially closed, and the winners have been crowned! Thank you all for participating in this event, It was our first time holding something like this, so things definitely weren't perfect, but hopefully we have learnt enough to make this even better next year.

So this year we decided that we would hold the 1st Annual Stasher Anime Awards! Over the past few weeks, the staff have nominated the anime that they liked the best this year in about 20 different categories. I know that people have different tastes and that your favorite might not be among the options, but well, that's how most awards go anyway   We have staff that like all kinds of anime, so I think most genres are pretty well represented.

Also, this is first and foremost a way to promote forum activity! Disagree with our nominations? Voice your opinions in the respective voting threads! Debates are encouraged! Just remember our rules about forum behavior. I'm going to make an extra reminder about spoilers, there is a spoiler tag for a reason, use it! Staff will be moderating the threads for spoilers very strictly.

So our nominations were made with the following consideration in mind; only Anime that have finished in 2011 were considered for nomination. That's why some of the Fall favorites that have started airing are no where to be seen.

All polls are up and running. You still have around 10 days to vote, so if you have to finish that anime that's been on the backlog before you vote, get to it!
